Who could have imagined that a pandemic would prevent the planting of a dogwood tree today on Arbor Day 2020? It did.
But, today, Michigan’s Governor Whitmer relaxed restrictions for landscapers:
LANSING, Mich. — Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed executive order 2020-59, extending her “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order through May 15. . . . The new executive order will also allow some workers who perform very previously suspended activities to go back on the job. Landscapers, lawn-service companies, and nurseries can return to work, subject to strict social distancing.

Looking forward to hearing back from Mike at the Old Village Landscapers in Plymouth, Michigan. Will he be able to plant a dogwood tree for me? Stay tuned!
